How much does a Smart Classroom cost in India?+
Our current Smart Classroom Package for India schools is ₹49,999 (MRP ₹80,000). It includes an Optoma X400LVe projector, 120" pull-down screen, 15 m HDMI cable, power cable, professional installation, teacher training and a first-class demo. Extra HDMI length beyond 15 metres is chargeable based on site need. Transportation to site is charged extra based on distance. Multi-classroom orders receive additional volume discounts.
Which projector is best for schools?+
For most Indian classrooms with 30–60 students and moderate ambient light, we recommend the Optoma X400LVe (4,000 lumens, XGA) as the price-performance sweet spot. Larger halls and auditoriums move up to 5,000–7,000 lumen laser projectors from BenQ, Epson or Sony.
Can existing classrooms be upgraded without civil work?+
Yes. Most classrooms are retrofit-ready. Our team mounts the projector on the existing false ceiling or true ceiling, runs the HDMI cable through conduits or trunking, and installs the screen on the front wall. No breaking, no re-plastering.
Do you provide installation across the school in one go?+
Yes. Multi-classroom installations are our specialty. A 10-classroom rollout takes 4–6 working days; a 20-classroom rollout takes 2–3 weeks. We schedule around school hours or complete everything during vacations.
Do you train teachers?+
Every Smart Classroom Package ships with a first-class demo and hands-on teacher training. We cover projector on/off routines, source switching, laptop and USB connection, basic troubleshooting and best practices for classroom lighting.
Do you provide Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)?+
Yes. Our education AMC includes 2 preventive maintenance visits per year, priority phone/remote diagnostics, discounted lamp replacements and 24-hour on-site response for critical breakdowns.
How many classrooms can you install simultaneously?+
We routinely handle 20–40 classrooms in parallel. Larger campuses (60+ classrooms) are staged into phases so exam and admission cycles are not disrupted.
How many students can comfortably use one Smart Classroom setup in India?+
A 120" screen at 4,000 lumens comfortably serves classrooms of up to 60 students. For 80+ seat lecture halls we recommend 150" screens paired with 5,000-lumen projectors.
Do you install across Telangana?+
Yes. We routinely install across Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Khammam, Nalgonda, Siddipet and every major Telangana town — with the same one-day-per-classroom SLA.
Do you install across Andhra Pradesh?+
Yes. Vijayawada, Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Nellore, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Kadapa and the entire AP capital region are core service territories.
Can this setup be used for online classes and Zoom / Google Meet?+
Absolutely. Connect any laptop via HDMI (or wireless with an optional dongle) and the projector mirrors the online meeting on the 120" screen. Optional PTZ cameras and lapel mics turn the classroom into a full hybrid teaching studio.
Does this support smart boards or interactive flat panels?+
Yes. This offer is a projector-based Smart Classroom, which is the most affordable format. If you prefer touch-based teaching, we also supply 65"–98" Interactive Flat Panels (Aaztec, BenQ, Newline, ViewSonic) as a separate package.
How long does a single classroom installation take?+
A single classroom is fully installed, cabled, tested and demonstrated in 4–6 hours by a 2-engineer team.
What warranty do we get?+
The Optoma X400LVe projector and screen carry manufacturer warranty. LiveInSmart adds a 1 year on site warranty on top.
Can we upgrade later to a laser projector or interactive panel?+
Yes. The screen, cabling and mounting hardware remain compatible. Upgrading only the projector or moving to an IFP is a 2–3 hour swap per room.
Is the projector bright enough for daytime classes?+
4,000 lumens is comfortable for typical Indian classrooms with light-coloured walls. For west-facing rooms with strong afternoon glare we recommend blackout curtains or a 5,000-lumen upgrade.
What happens if the lamp fails?+
Under warranty, replacement is free. Post-warranty, an Optoma-original lamp costs ₹6,000–₹9,000 with about 5,000-hour life — roughly 4–5 years of daily school use.
Do you provide GST invoicing and school-purchase-order support?+
Yes. We invoice with full GSTIN, accept school POs, government PO formats and provide compliance documentation for accreditation audits.
Is the offer available for CBSE, ICSE, State Board and international schools?+
Yes — the package is board-agnostic. It works equally well for CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, State Board (AP/TS) and Cambridge curricula.
Can we finance the installation in EMIs?+
For orders above ₹2 lakh (typically 4+ classrooms) we can arrange partner financing with 6–24 month EMI plans. Speak to our sales team for eligibility.
How is this different from putting a large TV in the classroom?+
A 55"–65" TV is too small for a full classroom — students beyond row 4 struggle to read. A 120" projected image is roughly 5× the area, brighter for a group audience, and half the cost.
Do you supply audio / speakers for the classroom?+
Yes. Basic 40W stereo speakers can be bundled for ₹4,500. Larger halls typically get 2.1 speaker systems or ceiling-mounted PA at ₹15,000–₹40,000.
Do you install PA systems and public address for the whole campus?+
Yes. Zone-wise PA, ceiling speakers, wireless mics and assembly-hall audio are standard scope. We combine classroom installs with campus PA to reduce mobilisation cost.
Do you serve government schools and CSR-funded projects in India?+
Yes. We work with government tenders, Samagra Shiksha rollouts, CSR programmes and NGO-funded classroom projects with full documentation, invoicing and post-installation reporting.
