Why Listening Distance Limits Cabinet Size
A tall speaker with several drivers spread over a metre of cabinet needs distance for those drivers to sum into a single source. Sitting two metres away, you hear them separately. This is a geometric fact, not a brand characteristic, and it is why a compact model often sounds more coherent in a small room than the larger model above it in the same range.
